General Description:

Provide administrative support to the department’s Fraud group in the performance of their investigative responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


·Communicate with members who have "confirmed fraud" with their Visa Check Card and assist them with the recovery of their funds: Provide the member with the necessary documentation to reimburse their account (plastic card fraud/disputed charges, notification of fraudulent transactions and ATM forms); obtain hard-copy statements from members confirming fraud; proof all forms submitted by members-ensuring that all information being requested and needed has been furnished prior to submission of police reports; assist in the preparation of files for police reports

·Suspicious activity-Online billpay: Coordinate members’ recovery of funds.

·Prepare Visa Check Card fraud files (log cases on excel,) for chargebacks, recoveries, and reimbursements to the members.

·Prepare completed fraud files for imaging-record retention and coordinate transfer of files with the Imaging Dept.

·Enter daily reports (i.e. electronic (e-Funds) reports and Int'l wire spreadsheets),

·Enter applicable fraud information in the Case Management System (LCS)

·Triage incoming phone calls and inquiries from members or employees directing inquiries to the appropriate staff.

·Provide the necessary administrative record keeping (spreadsheets) on Dormant Accounts.

·Provide the necessary administrative support for the Dept's Identity Theft Program.

·Distribute mail to the appropriate staff personnel.

·Other duties as assigned.


Position requirements:

·Minimum of two years administrative assistant experience
· Proficient in Word and Excel
